UCB - Zingi on-site mobility

Our production site in Braine-l'Alleud covers an area of more than 51 hectares and we employ more than 1500 people. The distances between the different departments are so big that we needed an ecological and efficient mobility solution. We chose Zingi because they offer an all-in solution for a fixed monthly fee, including; bicycles with smart locks, software platform, app and on-site maintenance. Zingi's team advised us on the best operational setup based on their experience. The strength of Zingi is the total solution with a holistic project approach. Facility management, HR and IT were involved in the project. Zingi has even integrated our Single Sign On (SSO) service so that our employees can easily use the Zingi app with their UCB account.

We have colleagues from all over Belgium to work at our site in Puurs, and our workforce is still growing. In the past 12 months we have recruited 500 colleagues. Fortunately, we have 5 train stations in a radius of 15 km, but not within walking distance. We are very satisfied with the solution Zingi offered us for our last mile mobility problem. Together with Zingi, we have deployed 50 e-bikes and city bikes at the nearest train stations. Our employees can now reserve a bicycle and are guaranteed to have a bicycle ready for them.
